GHB has brioche and challah almost every day of the week. The brioche is about $7 a loaf, but it's buttery and tender... almost seductive. :-) The have several things out for taste each day... they all seem to be good here. The lunch sandwich option is pretty nice as well. You can build your own or order a regular item... and they do a special off-menu sandwich as well. Of all the places in Corinth to eat lunch this is my favorite.

I live close to Great Harvest and will stop in once a month or so for a loaf of bread or a sandwich. At one point, I stopped in much more frequently for their Peanut Butter and Honey Sandwich on white bread. I think I ate it every day for lunch for two weeks or so. It's totally addictive. The sugar in the honey sort of makes the bread almost crispy on the one side and then the creamy peanut butter balances out the texture. That was a while ago but I still think about it often. Not everyone loves this bread which is dense and soft. I love to toast their bread in the mornings with butter and jam. Today, I had a chicken salad sandwich. I'm picky about chicken salad and theirs was amazing. Their cookies are good too...Mountain Munchies are super good and all freeze well so buy the 8 pack and stick them in the freezer.

This isn't day-old-bread or day-old-bread prices. It is a small store, with a quaint selection. I don't come in often but I Do Enjoy the bread, staff is friendly, and always willing to give free samples. Yummy :) Stop on by if your looking for a little something different There, short and sweet, now gimme something to eat.

Always a fun trip and a great selection of both standard and seasonal breads! Lavish with samples and a clean setting.

Great fresh made to order lunch place. This beats any chain sandwich place by miles. You order your lunch off of a create-your-own piece of paper allowing you to satisfy your exact cravings all on made in house bread. I'm a fan of the chicken salad. You can go as far as adding chips, a drink and a home made cookie as well. The place can be hectic with suburban mom's that aren't in any hurry (drives me crazy) and a little discheveled because of the foot traffic if you hit at the wrong time. The staff can be extremely great or it can seem a little high school staff catch up time. They offer much more than just sandwiches and lunch, but that is the only experience I have had, therefore the only experience I shall write about!

I enjoy getting the occasional loaf of bread here, but for me, it is all about the sandwiches. They simply make a great, basic sandwich. There is a station to your left when you first walk in, that has lots of little clipboards on it. This is where you will find the order forms for sandwiches. You choose 1/2 or whole, and whether or not you want to make it a meal (adding a large cookie and chips...definitely worth it!), and then go on to select your bread and fillings. Hand in the sheet, enjoy some generous bread samples while you wait, pay, and be on your way to have an enjoyable lunch. There are vegetarian options, tables to sit at there if you want to stay, and plenty of delicious baked goods to peruse.

Delicious!! Tried this place for the first time a few days ago and the sandwich was perfect :) I've been looking for a good sandwich place and now I've found one!

On the pricey side, but always good. All of the sweets and homemade breads are delicious. The order process is sort of confusing, so if you are there for a sandwich, be sure to find a clipboard at the door. It has the menu and an order card for you to fill out. A huge positive -- they are the only place (that I'm aware of) in Kansas City that serves Peet's Coffee. Considering we usually get it shipped from San Francisco, I was ecstatic to discover they serve it. This alone will keep me coming back to Great Harvest.

You think this bread was expensive, but have you read the ingredient list? You can actually pronounce and know what each one is. They are made daily. Been going here since they were on 95th and Nall. They're in a little niche of a place in Cornith Square but still have all the heart in their breads. If you see a bread and it sounds good but you're not sure if you like it. They are willing to give samples with butter and honey. The sweets are yummy and the sandwiches are great too. I haven't tried the drinks yet.

I drive from the country to buy this bread. It is as nutritious as you get and absolutely delicious. They give you generous samples of bread which you can smear with real butter or their wonderful cinnamon butter (also for sale....yum!). The staff could not be more helpful or friendly. The lattes are at the level of Starbucks. I have bought bread from bakeries all over the US and this one is my hands down favorite.

I walked in thinking they might have a mid-morning snack I could justify into my daily carb units as "healthy." Instead I found a pitiful selection of muffins (err, one type of muffin which must not be popular because there were a lot of them), cinnamon rolls or "harvest" rolls (which have egg, hashbrowns and ham wrapped up to look like a cinnamon roll). They were the leftovers from their morning rush I was told. Bummer But I'm not going to hold this against them. If I had a normal job like everyone else I would be able to come in before work and grab something tasty. The salesgirl did let me try a sample of the harvest roll--which was good, but really weird. There were a lot of flavors in there. Not a fan of cinnamon rolls, and there's no way I need a whole bag of scones or cookies, I opted out of the Bread Company's offerings. I would advise going in early to get a good selection, otherwise you'll be left choiceless.
